I Met Myself Today

I met myself today,

and then, I cried...

World got smaller today,

and then, I died...

ll my strength – gone!

All my hope, self-belief.

My image in the mirror – gone!

And yet – a strange relief.

And now my heart is broken,

and now my will is bent.

Meaningless all the words spoken,

and wasted all the time I spent.

Yes, I cried! But now I know myself!

And yes, I really did die today.

Now, I will have to live with myself,

and hope, that may-be, just may-be,

I’m not crazy!
